Want to be in the room where the magic happens? We’re looking for a creative, detail-loving, excellence-oriented, quick-on-your-feet problem solver to join our team as an Event Intern.

You’ll help plan, organize, and execute real events, from the first client call to the final champagne toast. You’ll get hands-on experience in:

Event Internship 2025 Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Intern to assist with the execution, planning, and administrative tasks related to our client events. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited for someone eager to learn about event production from the ground up while contributing to the creative and operational success of each project.

Administrative & Digital Organization

  • Upload and organize event photos and documents in Google Drive

  • Maintain and update branded decks, templates, and marketing collateral

  • Update basic website content (e.g. new events, press mentions, imagery)

Social Media & Content

  • Develop social media content ideas in alignment with brand voice and seasonal trends

  • Assist in creating and maintaining a content calendar

  • Source behind-the-scenes content and event visuals

Budget Tracking & Reporting

  • Assist in tracking event budgets and expenditures

  • Identify trends or cost efficiencies for future planning

  • Record receipts and organize invoices as needed

Timeline & Communication Support

  • Send “Run of Show” and staff coordination emails for each event

  • Assist in managing RSVP lists or internal calendars as needed

  • Follow up on open tasks with vendors or team members

Post-Event Documentation

  • Help document lessons learned, vendor performance, and client feedback

  • Support the Event Producer in compiling debrief materials

  • Archive key materials for future reference

On-Site Event Assistance

  • Provide hands-on support during live events, including:Setup, guest check-in, styling details, and breakdown

  • Assist with packing, loading, and transportation post-event

  • Troubleshoot and support vendors or staff on-site

Vendor & Brand Liaison

  • Coordinate COI (Certificate of Insurance) requests and submissions

  • Manage communications with brand partners, sponsors, or collaborators

  • Relay key updates or requests to the Event Producer or Owner

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Interest in event planning, production, or creative operations

  • Proactive communicator and natural problem solver

  • Comfortable working on-location and occasionally outside standard hours

  • Basic knowledge of tools like Google Drive, Canva, social media platforms, and Excel/Sheets

Bonus Skills (Not Required, but Nice to Have)

  • Photography or visual content creation

  • Experience with scheduling tools like Later or Buffer

  • Familiarity with website platforms like Squarespace or Wix

  • Graphic design (Canva, Adobe Express)
